free school meals for your children if you are in the UK. For low income families it has been a life saver. However recent news headlines suggest in 2019 312 MP’s voted and want free meals scrapped from 1 million children.
Strange how UK MP’s salaries increase in April 2019 and go up from £74,962 to £76,011. The money has to come from somewhere to pay MP’s. yet are they out of touch with real families and single parents struggling to cope with poverty. Only this week news on Facebook stated schools noticed more dirty and hungry children coming to school.
What impact will this have on these hungry children if the school meals they get free will be abolished full stop. full article can be seen here on this link lets stop free school meals

Teenagers at high school
teenagers that get free school meals get a rough deal. by the way they have an allowance of £2.25 a day. next they use a finger print system to get the free school dinners. furthermore they find they cannot get a lot. So parents subsidies an extra 10-15 pound a week so they get something more substantial. Or take in a packed lunch and use the allowance to get a snack or breakfast instead.
